Yes, of course. We welcome initiative and self-discovery. If you realize that you can bring more value in another area of our activity, we will consider your proposal and facilitate the transfer.

No, it is not a problem. We train UAV operators from scratch — from basic principles to practical application. The most important things are motivation and a willingness to learn. Basic knowledge of the field is an advantage, but it is not required.

How to Join the "RUGBY TEAM" Units?

Sign a contract, or join via direct mobilization into the unit.

Mobilization directly into the unit through recruitment without prior application to the TCC (Territorial Recruitment Center);

To join, you need to fill out the questionnaire, pass an interview, and selection. After that, you submit the documents and, as a serviceman of the BBS “RUGBY TEAM”, you head to the training center of the 129th OSB for basic general military training.

  1. Passport.
  2. Identification code.
  3. Military ID or registration certificate (if available).

At the moment, we do not consider candidates:

  • among women (except for the cook position),
  • persons serving a sentence of imprisonment,
  • persons who do not have Ukrainian citizenship.

The unit is looking for motivated and disciplined candidates with basic physical and psychological endurance, who are ready to take responsibility, work in a team, and quickly master new skills.

In order to join the unit, it is necessary to fill out the form on the official website or contact directly via WhatsApp: +380680067711

Without passing basic general military training, you can join the service only if you have a corresponding military occupational specialty (MOS-100).

You can serve under contract if your age is between 18 and 44 years, and by mobilization if you are between 25 and 58 years old.

To serve in our unit, you do not need to be a professional athlete. The main requirement is a general healthy state of the organism, basic endurance, and readiness for moderate loads. Most combat missions are related to work on the terrain. If you are able to walk 3-5 kilometers in gear and do not have chronic medical contraindications, your level of preparation will be quite sufficient. The main thing is your inner motivation, resilience, and ability to work harmoniously in a team, and you will be able to improve your physical shape during service and joint exercises.

After passing the interview, you will receive a recommendation letter, with which you can submit a report for changing the place of service to your commander or via the “Army+” application. Currently, transfers are carried out exclusively within the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Transfers from the National Guard of Ukraine are not conducted.

We can consider your candidacy if you have not yet been assigned to another unit.

You will serve in the position you applied for. The staffing table does not always provide for all necessary positions, so the position in the recommendation letter may differ from the actual one.

If you are a civilian, you first need to pass a military medical commission and basic general military training. After that, you will arrive at our unit, where you will undergo additional training (if necessary) and begin service in the selected position. For military personnel, the transfer period is different in each case.

After completing basic general military training, you return to the unit where professional training and adaptation await you.

Yes, you can. We organize the necessary training that will allow you to get basic military knowledge and skills to perform tasks.

Without approval, you can transfer through Army+ if your position does not correspond to the conclusion of the MMC (Military Medical Commission) or if you serve in a rear unit and want to transfer to us, into a combat one. In other cases, the consent of your commander is required.

Our recruiters will take care of this, accompanying you from the first call until arrival at the unit. Everyone who goes to “RUGBY TEAM” through the recruitment procedure is guaranteed to end up in the unit.

Such a method is not prescribed in the regulatory documents of the AFU. We act in accordance with the current rules and norms.

We do not transfer it. Your personal data is protected in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”. Its processing and transfer are possible only with your consent.

We do accept people with health restrictions, but we consider each case individually.

Yes, of course. Leave an application for an interview and determination of your competencies. Please note: in case of a successful interview, your transfer to “RUGBY TEAM” will also depend on additional factors (service time in the previous unit, health status, branch of the military, approval of the immediate commander).

AWOL (SZZ)

We do, but we consider each case individually.

A recommendation letter cannot be given to someone who left the unit unauthorized, since such a person is excluded from the lists of their unit, and the current position must be indicated in the recommendation letter.

The list of vacancies in “RUGBY TEAM” is the same for civilians, military, and those who left the unit unauthorized. Only skills and motivation for service matter.

We protect our people and invest in their training and provisioning. We are not an infantry unit, but everyone who plans to join our ranks must be ready to perform combat missions.

Provisioning

Our unit makes payments to servicemen in a timely manner and in full compliance with current legislation. Accruals begin from the first day of enrollment in the military unit.

In accordance with current legislation, every serviceman is provided with all necessary equipment and gear for service. At the same time, you can independently purchase additional gear according to your position to increase comfort and work efficiency.
